Learn To Code 4.0
The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter College of Engineering Chengannur, in partnership with the IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group College of Engineering Chengannur, successfully hosted the "Learn To Code 4.0" event. This initiative was designed to create a conducive environment for female students to learn C programming. The event lasted four days, from the 3rd to the 6th of April 2024, with sessions held after regular classes from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. To facilitate effective learning, students were divided into five groups, each guided by a mentor. This setup encouraged peer-to-peer learning and created a supportive learning environment for the students. The mentors, who were second and third-year students, addressed the essentials of C programming, ensuring participants obtained a good foundation in C programming. The event made a substantial contribution to increasing coding knowledge among female students on campus.
