Women in Engineering Forum
The IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Circuits and Systems (AICAS), Women in Engineering (WiE) forum aims to support women and underrepresented minorities (URM) as they advance their careers in academia and industry. Its goal is to promote diversity within the IEEE community, specifically in the Circuits and Systems (CAS) field. This forum aims to provide practical advice to women and URM, helping them navigate career obstacles. It also builds connections between senior and junior researchers, fostering a more inclusive community.
Integrated into the AICAS program, the forum will include a panel followed by casual conversations covering topics such as barriers to entry, resources available within IEEE and in general, and challenges in Region 8, with a focus on promoting dialogue and finding solutions.
