Student Branch Reports

1)  Funding request USD $700 for 4 students 23-25 April to Cubesat Developers Conference. All are IEEE student members. 

Section Officers Reports

1) Southwest Area Spring Meeting. Readout in email. 
2) San Diego County Engineering Council Spring Meeting report. Recruitment, Engineer's Week readout.
3) DMEMS 24-25 April - Resources needed? Any roadblocks?
4) All expenses in Concur have been reviewed. Reminder to submit OPCOM expenses.

Old business

1) "big list" refresh from database pull. 

2) ieee.tv, YouTube, Collabratec, etc.
ieee.tv is a service from IEEE. IEEE members log in to access special members-only programs and site features including downloads and transcripts. 
YouTube is an ad-driven social media site available to the general public for no financial charge.
IEEE Collabratec is an integrated, online community where technology professionals can network, collaborate, and create in one central hub. 

Progress

3) Continuity is important. We have a number of accounts, services, and login information. There has been feedback that this could be managed better than it currently is. Should we authorize a password account such as 1Password for the Section, in order to protect and preserve login information? 

New business

1) Chapter health: good! Everyone has at least one meeting in the books. However, Consumer Technology does not have a Chair. Signal Processing has two Vice Chairs and no chair. Life Members affinity group needs a chair. John Kroon will help with onboarding and advising. He cannot continue as chair.
