Celebrates Uttarakhand State Foundation Day
Uttaranchal University Celebrates Uttarakhand state Foundation Day – 2023 with great pomp on 9th November, 2023 at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium of Uttaranchal University collabrating with the Aegis of Law College Dehradun Legal Aid Centre and NCC wing of the university.
The program was started by paying tribute to the immortal martyrs of Uttarakhand movement. Photographs of martyrs were put up on the Shaurya Diwar located at the university campus and along with the drill of NCC cadets, first the Chancellor Shri Jitendra Joshi and then everyone offered flowers.
In this seminar the speaker discussed about how the brave martyrs of Uttarakhand Movement sacrificed their life for Uttarakhand. By which the whole atmosphere echoed with the slogans raised for the martyrs.

Celebrates Uttarakhand State Foundation Day
Shri Pradeep Kukreti was the speaker in the program.
A great presentation based on Uttarakhand state movement was given by the him in the packed auditorium. The presentation was so effective that it brought back memories of processions, slogans, demonstrations and bandhs during the movement. Many incidents were discussed like Muzaffarnagar incident and police brutality were also shown in the presentation. Seeing this everyone's eyes became moist.
Speaking on the outline of the Uttarakhand movement, Pradeep Kukreti said that the Uttarakhand movement is an incomparable example of struggle, patience, sacrifice and dedication.
