The Nano Road Show for School Students was organized on February 28, 2024, at Pusat Sains Cawangan Wilayah Utara, Gunung Keriang, Alor Setar, Kedah. The event aimed to introduce school students to the fascinating world of nanotechnology and its applications.
The event saw the participation of 50 enthusiastic school students from various educational institutions, accompanied by 20 facilitators. These facilitators played a crucial role in guiding and assisting the students throughout the activities.
The Nano Road Show featured a series of interactive and educational activities designed to engage students and spark their interest in nanotechnology. These activities included:
Students participated in hands-on workshops where they learned about the principles of nanotechnology and its applications in various fields such as medicine, electronics, and materials science.
Facilitators conducted live demonstrations showcasing nano-scale phenomena and experiments, allowing students to witness the unique properties of nanomaterials firsthand.
Students had the opportunity to engage with experts from INEE, UniMAP, and IEEE SNC through interactive Q&A
sessions, where they could ask questions and learn more about nanotechnology research and career opportunities.
The Nano Road Show for School Students proved to be a resounding success, inspiring young minds and fostering interest in nanotechnology among school students. By providing an immersive and educational experience, the event contributed to raising awareness about the potential of nanotechnology and its role in shaping the future.
