Business manager - Transformer Re-engineering and Services, Hitachi Energy India Limited

 

Biography:

A graduate in Electrical Engineering, PG diploma in operation management and trained at IIM Bangalore,
Manisha started her career as Management Trainee with Jyoti Limited, Vadodara in 1994 and worked as
design engineer for MV Switchgear. She joined ABB in the 1997 in Vadodara and has since then handled
various roles in Sales and marketing, Engineering management, operation management and General
Management handing distribution relays business of ABB India and achieving market leadership position.
She has rich experience to work with consultants, EPCs, Industries and utilities for application and
engineering of Distribution automation products and high voltage product services. She has travelled to
more than 25 countries for business promotion and meetings.
CNBC mentioned Manisha as one of the few successful female leaders in manufacturing sector during
their series “Women in Manufacturing”. She was among the first 18 female leaders selected globally to
represent ABB at Women’s Forum at Douville, France.
On a personal front Manisha is passionate learned of Aurveda and Yog and is a certified Yog teacher.
She also loves reading and implementing management principles to daily life.
