“Antenna Technology Advancements in the field of Radar & Satcom applications" will
provide an overview of Antenna technologies used in Radar & satellite communication.
Overall the session focuses on practical understanding of critical antenna systems and its
role in design of complex system design. The role of antenna and its technology trend will
be covered through case studies. The aim of this talk to develop an approach of antenna
design, selection of antenna for various system needs and platforms keeping in mind the
user's perspective.

He is an Engineering Graduate (B.Tech.) in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Post
Graduate in General Management from IIM-Kozhikode. Additionally, He is a certified Design
for Six Sigma (DFSS) from ISI Bangalore & Certified Reliability Engineer from American
Society of Quality (USA).
He is currently working as a Manager, in the Department of Development &
Engineering-antenna SBU of Bharat Electronics Ltd, Ghaziabad, A Govt. of India Enterprise
under Ministry of Defense. He is responsible for Design & Development of Antenna Systems for
Radar & Satcom applications.
He is having a total of 12+ years of experience. He has published 12 technical papers in various
IEEE conferences, 2 copyrighted software & patent in the field of radomes.
He has designed and successfully developed antenna & antenna arrays for passive & active
phased primary radars, linear antenna arrays for Secondary radars (IFF Systems), Reflector
based antenna systems for VSAT, Earth Station Antenna Systems, reflector based antenna for
Satcom On the Move & Man Pack Terminals.
