Celebrando a Semana da Educação 2024, a Seção de Minas Gerais organiza o evento técnico "As novas DCNs e a reestruturação dos PPCs". Este evento oferece formação sobre as novas Diretrizes Nacionais Curriculares dos Cursos de Engenharia no Brasil e diretrizes para elaboração de Projetos Pedagógicos dos Cursos para professores e estudantes de diversas instituições de Minas Gerais. Os instrutores são:

Celebrating Education Week 2024, the Minas Gerais Section is organizing the technical event "The New DCNs and the Restructuring of the PPCs". This event provides training on the new National Curriculum Guidelines for Engineering Courses in Brazil and guidelines for the development of Course Pedagogical Projects for teachers and students from various institutions in Minas Gerais. The instructors are:

Rodolfo Moura of Federal University of São João del-Rei

Biography:

Graduated (2012) and received a master's degree (2014) in electrical engineering from the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ). In 2018, he earned a PhD in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He is currently an Associate Professor III at UFSJ and a member of PPGEL/UFSJ. He is an accredited researcher at the National Institute of Electrical Energy (INERGE) and a researcher for the High Voltage and Insulation Coordination Group (GATCI), registered with CNPq.

Gleison Amaral of Federal University of São João del-Rei

Biography:

He holds a degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (2000), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2001), and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006). He is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei. He has experience in the field of Mathematics, with an emphasis on Dynamical Systems, working mainly on the following topics: chaos, nonlinear dynamical systems, nonlinear dynamics, piecewise linear models, and dynamical invariants.

Biography:

He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), specializing in Power Systems. He has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEL), a broad association between the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ) and the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG). He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ). He served as a teacher of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG), Advanced Campus Itabirito, from 2017 to 2019. He is currently a professor at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and a member of PPGEL/UFSJ, specializing in Power System Planning, and works in the area of Research and Development (R&D) Projects as an associated researcher at the Advanced Institute of Technology and Innovation (IATI).

Biography:

He holds a bachelor's degree (2009) and a master's degree (2011) in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of São João del-Rei - UFSJ, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá, specializing in Power Systems Planning. He has experience in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on the application of probabilistic techniques in Power System Planning. His main areas of focus include reliability assessment, Monte Carlo simulation, optimization techniques via meta-heuristics, planning under uncertainty, renewable sources, and protection of power systems.

Leonardo Willer de Oliveira of Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora

Topic:

Biography:

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2003), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2005), and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ / COPPE) (2009). He is currently a faculty member at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Associate Professor Level 3, under an exclusive dedication regime. He has experience in the area of Power Systems, focusing primarily on the following topics: planning, operation, reliability, state estimation, optimization, and artificial intelligence.
