Description: VoltVoyage is a thrilling electronics hackathon that challenges participants to push the boundaries of their creativity and technical prowess. This electrifying event unfolds over two rounds, each designed to test the contestants' skills and passion for electronics.
In the first round, participants are tasked with tackling a problem statement to construct a hardware circuit capable of generating a square wave with a precise 50% duty cycle using a 555 timer. They must craft a circuit that meets the technical specifications. The teams used a DC power supply and a CRO to check the output of the circuit they built.
As the first round concludes, participants gear up for the second round. In this stage, contestants are asked to leverage their previously created circuit to build a buck converter. The participants must engineer a circuit capable of efficiently stepping down voltage levels while maintaining the integrity of the power supply.
