IEEE STEM OUTREACH PROGRAM MINDFEST ‘24
The IEEE Society for Social Implications in Technologies Student Branch Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College organized a "STEM Outreach Program" at Pachaiyappa’s College for Men, Kanchipuram, on April 17, 2024. The event comprised three sessions:
1. Session 1 (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM): Mr. Jagadeesh highlighted the benefits of IEEE for students and professionals, engaging the audience with interactive discussions.
2. Session 2 (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM): Mr. Alfred Christo discussed IEEE funding schemes like EPICS in IEEE and IEEE SIGHT, guiding students on project funding application procedures.
3. Session 3 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM): Mr. Surya Prakash emphasized the importance of STEM education and rural development, inspiring attendees to contribute to rural development initiatives.
A small competition was held post-sessions, with the top performer receiving a token of appreciation.
