Event Details

"Where Engineering Leads" is a distinguished forum organized by the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Student Branch Chapter (SBC) of DA-IICT. The event this year was held on the 20th of April (Saturday) at 9:00 PM and took place in online mode through the Google Meet platform. Through an engaging online panel discussion, participants had the unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into various career paths within and beyond the engineering field.  It provided a way for esteemed professionals to share their experiences and insights with students, thereby fostering professional development and networking opportunities The event was meticulously planned and executed to ensure an enriching experience for all attendees, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and knowledge exchange in the dynamic professional landscape.

Keynote Speakers

The panel of keynote speakers for the event included three exceptional professionals:

1. Rutvik Kothari: Rutvik Kothari is a software engineer at Google, bringing with him valuable insights gained from his previous association with Sprinklr. He distinguished himself as an ICPC finalist in the year 2020, showcasing his prowess in the field of programming and problem-solving.

2. Abhin Kakkad: Abhin Kakkad holds the esteemed position of Senior Product Manager at Orient Electric. With an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad under his belt, Abhin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion. Additionally, he is the founder of 'Originating Ideas,' a blog focusing on management and business topics, further highlighting his expertise in the field.

3. Kunjal Rupala: Kunjal Rupala currently serves as a Product Manager at Zelthy and boasts a rich entrepreneurial background as the co-founder of Pegasus Automation. Her experience in spearheading a pioneering startup focused on transforming home automation services adds a unique perspective to the panel discussion.
