Alumni Interaction
In the dynamic interaction between the senior students and the upcoming executive
committees, seniors shared their experience and how IEEE helped them to step their foot into their
careers. They guide the junior members, helping them to get involved in IEEE activities and
nurturing their passion for technology. It ensures the continuity of IEEE activities and projects,
preventing disruptions during leadership transitions. Exe-Coms can start their terms with a clear
understanding of ongoing projects and a well-established network. I had the privilege of attending
an interaction session with senior members of our IEEE chapter. The session was organized with
the aim of providing junior members like myself with valuable insights into the IEEE (Institute of
Electrical and Electronics Engineers) organization, its benefits, and opportunities. The session
highlighted the numerous benefits of IEEE membership, including access to cutting-edge research,
networking opportunities, career development resources. Junior members were encouraged to
explore these benefits to enhance their academic and professional journeys. Senior IEEE members
shared their personal experiences and success stories within IEEE. They emphasized the importance
of active participation in IEEE activities, such as volunteering, attending conferences, and joining
student branches, to maximize the benefits of membership. Junior members had the opportunity to
ask questions and seek clarification on any aspect of IEEE membership. Senior members provided
valuable insights and guidance, making it an interactive and informative exchange. Interaction
Session for Junior Members proved to be a valuable and enlightening experience. Junior members
gained a deeper understanding of IEEE, its benefits, and the opportunities it offers.
