IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College, successfully organized a "Hands-on Training Session on Internet of Things" on January 5, 2024, at Computer Centre 3. The event spanned from 9:00 AM to 4:10 PM, divided into two sessions. In Session 1 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM), participants were introduced to the world of IoT, exploring its concepts and applications. Session 2 (1:00 PM - 4:10 PM) delved deeper into IoT, offering hands-on experience and practical insights. Students from rural government schools attended the event. A total of 60 students from  the first batch, and 40 students participated in the second batch, showcasing their active engagement. The training covered four diverse problem statements, each designed to challenge and enhance participants understanding of IoT concepts. Students provided positive feedback, describing the event as insightful and exciting. The hands-on approach enabled effective learning, and interactive sessions facilitated dynamic idea exchange. The success of the "Hands-on Training Session on Internet of Things" highlights its impact on student education, fostering a spirit of curiosity and preparing them for the evolving technological landscape.
