🌱 Greening Our Campus: Plantation Event by IEEE Student Branch RECM 🌳
On April 8th, 2024, IEEE Student Branch RECM organized a significant Plantation Event within the premises of Rajkiya Engineering College Mainpuri. This initiative aimed to foster environmental sustainability and promote a greener campus for the benefit of all.
Community Involvement: Under the guidance of leading members Ankit Chaurasia and Deepak Verma, our student members enthusiastically participated in planting various saplings across different locations within the college premises. The event exemplified our commitment to environmental stewardship and our collective responsibility towards conserving nature.
Taking Ownership: As part of the event, all members pledged to take care of the saplings they planted, ensuring their growth and sustainability in the long term. This commitment reflects our dedication to nurturing the greenery on our campus and fostering a thriving ecosystem.
Sustainability and Growth: Planting trees not only contributes to the beautification of our surroundings but also plays a vital role in mitigating climate change, improving air quality, and providing habitat for wildlife. By actively engaging in such initiatives, we strive to create a healthier and more sustainable environment for current and future generations.
