The IEEE SB SSIT Event  ForBy Series #26 session on “INTRODUCTION TO RHEL REDHAT ENTERPRISE LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM” held on Saturday , 2nd December 2023 from ,was a highly thought provoking session that delved into the foundational aspects of  Understanding Linux Operating System.The session was skillfully led by Sudhan R, a dedicated 3rd-year student from the Department Of Computer and Communication Engineering.

The speaker provided insights into the history and development of RHEL, highlighting its robustness, stability, and extensive support for enterprise-grade workloads.The speaker elaborated on RHEL's built-in security mechanisms, package management system, and support for containerization through technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Overall, the online session provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to RHEL Operating System, covering topics such as its features, administration, and relevance in enterprise environments.The event concluded with an encouraging note from Sudhan, urging attendees to actively participate in upcoming events under the ForBy Series.Certificates were awarded to recognize the dedication and active participation of the participants.Participants left the session motivated,satisfied and well-prepared to embrace the exciting possibilities.
