The Forby Series session on “INTRODUCTION TO AUGMENTED REALITY AND ITS APPLICATIONS'',Organized by IEEE SB SSIT held on friday , 15th december 2023 from 7.00 PM TO 8.00 PM. The session led by the expertise of  our diligent student  SWATHII CP , 3rd year from department of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA SCIENCE.The session turned out to be a tremendous success providing profound knowledge into the world of AR.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Student Members

The IEEE SB SSIT event ForBY,  “#28 Introduction to Augmented Reality and its Applications”, hosted on December 15, 2023 was an insightful exploration into the universe of versatile Augmented Reality  , led by SWATHII CP , from 3rd year AI-DS Department.She kickstarted the session with an engaging introduction, expertly untangling the distinctions between AR,MR, and XR. Real-world instances vividly showcased the practical applications of these immersive technologies across diverse fields.

Swathii delved into the nuances of AR , shedding light on its versatile implementations in sectors such as education , healthcare, and entertainment. The discourse navigated through several profound topics, offering participants a comprehensive grasp of AR’s potential and influence.The interactive session sparked dynamic discussions within the virtual community, encouraging an exchange of ideas and insights. 

She seamlessly integrated theoretical concepts with hands-on examples, creating an enriching learning environment. Certificates were awarded to recognize participant’s dedication , serving as a testament to their commitment. The concluded with an encouraging note , urging attendees to actively participate in upcoming events under the ForBy Series, leaving them motivated, satisfied and well-prepared to embrace the exciting possibilities presented by AR.
