TEKEQ-2024
On May 3rd, 2024, the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch, Sahyadri's-Institution Innovation Council, IE(I) -CSE Student Chapter, and CLOUDS, hosted the TEKEQ-2024 project exhibition. This event, designed for 8th semester engineering students, showcased the department's dedication to cultivating an innovation culture among students and faculty. TEKEQ-2024 provided a platform for students to display their innovative projects, aiming to spark interest in science and technology.
Out of 51 initial submissions, 25 projects advanced to TEKEQ-2024. Among these, the top thirteen projects were selected for a college-level exhibition. Esteemed external reviewers, including Dr. Bharath Bushan S N, a senior scientist at Tech Mahindra, and Mr. Sheik Salim, CEO of Techproxima and co-founder of Torsecure, conducted the evaluations. They were supported by Dr. Naveen Kumar, Associate Professor of Information Science & Engg, and Dr. Ananth Prabhu, Professor of Computer Science & Engg. The top two projects received certificates.
The coordination of TEKEQ-2024 was led by Dr. Suhas A Bhyrate, Dr. Adarsh Rag S, Prof. Raghavendra Sooda, IIC Department Coordinator Prof. Prajwal Rao. and, Prof. Srinivas PM , CLOUDS Coordinator. Prof. Harisha assisted in the organization of event. The programme was overseen by Dr. Mustafa Basthikodi, Head of the Department of CSE.
