WorldQuant Alphathon
The WorldQuant Alphathon held at DTU (Delhi Technological University) showcased a dynamic intersection of finance and technology. In the workshop more than 150 participants engaged in a spirited competition, applying quantitative strategies to financial data, aiming to generate alpha – excess returns above a predefined benchmark and competed for a USD2000 cash prize. 20 top rankers also bagged research consultant internships from WorldQuant. The event fostered innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among aspiring quants and data enthusiasts. Industry experts and mentors provided valuable insights, creating an immersive learning environment. The Alphathon at DTU not only encouraged participants to refine their quantitative skills but also served as a platform for networking and exposure to real-world financial challenges.
