TECH talk is a monthly open mic event where members of the UWU undergraduate community can voluntarily take the stage to share their experiences with the audience. It's a platform for building connections with like-minded individuals, providing opportunities to discuss research topics, improving public speaking skills, and fostering a sense of community. With the support of the university's academic staff, these events aim to encourage participation and engagement over a three-month period.

TECH Talk - Episode 1, marks the inaugural session of the series. Three undergraduate students participated in the event as volunteer speakers, sharing their insights and knowledge with the audience. The audience consisted of approximately 60 undergraduate students from Uva Wellassa University.

Awantha is a final-year undergraduate at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Technology, specializing in Mechatronics. He is deeply passionate about building and programming, with practical experience in constructing remote-controlled airplanes and programming using Python, Arduino, and C++ with Raspberry Pi Pico. Awantha is always eager to explore new technologies and has a strong interest in space exploration and rocket science. He actively seeks opportunities to expand his knowledge and contribute to innovative developments in these fields.
