IEEE CEDA Bangalore conducted a workshop on Verilog Language in Vemana Institute of Technology. CEDA is committed to help students to design digital circuits using open-source tools. The tool Icarus Verilog is used for this workshop.

Working with Icarus Verilog open-source tool.
Biography:
Dr. Jalaja S is the Associate Dean Student affairs, Bangalore Institute of Technology and completed her Ph.D. in the specialization of Low power VLSI architecture design from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Currently she is an ExeCom member for Bangalore Section for the year 2024-2023, treasurer for IEEE CEDA Bangalore Chapter and Chair for IEEE CAS Bangalore Chapter in 2022.
She has authored 25+ research publications in refereed international journals and conferences. Her research interests include self-powered and ultra-low power circuits and systems, analog computing, and hardware for AI.
She is the IEEE Student Branch Counselor and IEEE WIE Affinity group advisor of IEEE BIT, a technical student chapter at BIT for the last two years, which has won a most promising award in 2020, 2021 at state level and international level. She has been part of many international conferences at various capacities as Program Committee Member, Technical Program Committee member and Organizing Chair. She has served as Deputy Chief examiner for VTU.
Dr Jalaja S is a Senior Member of IEEE &IEI. She won the best champion award in IEEE CONECCT 2022 conference. She is the Chair Elect. Of IEEE Circuits and System Society Bangalore Section in the year 2020, 2021 and Execom member of WIE affinity, group IEEE Bangalore Section in the year 2019, 2020 and 2021. She won best researcher award 2020 IEEE Student Branch, Outstanding Execom award from IEEE CAS Bangalore Chapter in the year 2020 & 2021 as a Chair Elect. Outstanding Volunteer award IEEE Women in Engineering affinity Group, Bangalore Section in the year 2019 and best presentation award in WASET 2017 conference.
