ROBOVERSE’24
The Department of Electronics and Communication at AKGEC successfully organized its Annual Technical Workshop “ROBOVERSE-2024” on May 25, 2024. Team Phoenix and IEEE Student Chapter-Communication Society jointly conducted this workshop with focus on the Internet of Robotic Things (IoRT). The event was attended by 76 students of 1st Year from different engineering disciplines. The workshop introduced attendees to the fundamentals of IoRT, offering hands-on opportunities to create IoRT applications and real-world knowledge in programming, Cloud Computing, and hardware skills. The event included interactive quizzes, project demonstrations, and the provision of related study material. Technical topics covered in the workshop mainly included IoT & Robotics, Practical sessions on Arduino and NodeMCU platforms, culminating in a project on developing a Surveillance Robot using ESP32-CAM. The winners and organizing team members of Team Phoenix and IEEE Student Chapter-Communication Society were awarded with prizes, gifts and certificates by Prof. (Dr.) Neelesh Kumar Gupta, Head of ECE Department and he also motivated the students for successfully organizing this event.
