Cybersecurity and the SISMAT Experience

This event is supported by Nashua Community College, ACM, Southern New Hampshire University and UNH Manchester.
The purpose of SISMAT is to provide a boot camp for community college students in the
area of Cybersecurity. Students will share their experience and their knowledge of
Cybersecurity. Common forms of attacks on the network will be discussed. Examples of
man in the middle, denial of service and ARP table flooding will be presented. Students will
demonstrate how to use scripts and tools like Kali Linux to protect systems against attacks.

Biography:
Jonathon Sweeney, Troy Archie and Andrew Basinas are Nashua Community College
student in the Computer Science Networking Associate of Science Degree program. Last
summer the attended a special program for CCSNH system students at Dartmouth College
in Hanover New Hampshire. The program is called Secure Information Systems Mentoring
and Training.
