IEEE WiE Day is an annual event hosted by IEEE dedicated to celebrating and promoting the participation of women in engineering by highlighting their achievements and contributions. This year, the event will have the theme "Engaging more women in AI and 4IR technologies" and will be held at the Digital Metrópole Institute (IMD) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) on July 6, 2024, from 8 am at 6pm.

Schedule:
Registration (8:00 am to 9:00 am): Participants will be welcomed with music, will collect their badges and receive information about the event.
Opening (9:00 am to 9:10 am): Eloisa and Vanessa will officially open the event.
Lecture on 4IR (9:10am to 10:10am): Anny Gonçalves will give a lecture entitled “Uncovering the Fourth Industrial Revolution: Exploring Innovations and Future Perspectives”.
Round Table on AI (10:10 am to 12:00 pm): Anne Magaly, Thuanny Albuquerque, Juliana Santiago, Ana Gisele and Elayni Franco will participate in an in-depth discussion about AI, with the theme: “Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities” .
Lunch Break (12:00pm to 2:00pm): Time for networking and interaction between participants.
AI and 4IR Exhibition Fair (2:00 pm to 3:30 pm): Companies, research institutions and academic groups will present their innovations and projects.
Workshop on Introduction to Arduino (3:30pm to 5:00pm): The URA group will teach a workshop on Introduction to Arduino.
Short course with the MEG Girls (3:30 pm to 5:00 pm): Offered by MEG, the short course will cover an introduction to the Programming Language.
Coffee Break + Closing (5:00 pm to 6:00 pm): Time to relax, exchange ideas and end the event.
The event will provide a unique opportunity to learn about the trends and applications of emerging technologies, as well as promoting interaction between professionals, students and companies in the sector.
