Star Program: Empowering Rural Women through Outreach at Ibn Rachik High School
Our challenge evolved as we gathered firsthand insights from various sources.
Following our visits to the factory and preparatory school, we journeyed to the Ibn Rachik high school in Sfax to disseminate the collected information among students.
We organized them into groups and prompted discussions about the status of rural women, seeking their perspectives. Subsequently, we shared our findings and sensitized them through multimedia resources like videos and theater presentations. After this awareness session, we reintroduced the same questions, observing a notable shift in their responses a testament to the impact of our engagement.*
We then proposed the need for a technical solution to improve educational opportunities for rural females. A spirited debate ensued among the groups, culminating in a consensus around the idea of an educational platform.
However, this was not to be just any ordinary platform; it would encompass not only lessons but also elements of art, entrepreneurship, healthcare, and more. The collaborative effort and discourse led to an innovative solution that aimed to empower rural women beyond traditional education boundaries.
