TORQ_TERRAIN
Hosted by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) at BNMIT, TORQ_TERRAIN is an exhilarating terrain race event that challenges participants to design, build, and race autonomous or remotely controlled vehicles on a specially designed off-road track. The event emphasizes practical application of robotics and engineering principles, combining creativity, technical skill, and competitive spirit.
Participants are required to navigate their vehicles through a variety of obstacles, including rugged terrain, steep inclines, and challenging turns, testing the robustness and adaptability of their designs. The competition is structured to encourage innovation in areas such as vehicle stability, traction control, and obstacle avoidance.
TORQ_TERRAIN aims to foster a hands-on learning experience, promote teamwork, and inspire innovative solutions in robotics and automation. It is a highlight event for engineering students at BNMIT, drawing a large audience and generating excitement about the practical applications of engineering and robotics.
