Workshop on Inverse Problems in Electromagnetics and Applications
Dear Colleague, Professor, Friend,
we are organizing the first national Workshop entitled “Inverse Problems in Electromagnetics and Applications”, which will be held on 20th September 2024 in Aversa, Department of Engineering, University of Campania "L. Vanvitelli".
The main aim of the Workshop is to offer a forum for cross-fertilization of ideas on methodological and applicative aspects concerning inverse problems in electromagnetics.
The Workshop roughly includes the following scientific sessions:
• 5 keynote talks by speakers who will share their own point of view on the topic;
• 1 session of quick presentations (pitch) open to all.
In order to encourage interactions between different research groups, it would be convenient that presentations in the pitch session will be given by young researchers or PhD students.
Major topics include (but are not limited to):
• Antenna Synthesis and Diagnostics
• Ground Penetrating Radar
• Geophysical Data Inversion
• Inverse Scattering
• Artificial Intelligence
• Radar Sensing and Imaging
• Phase Retrieval
• Inverse Problems In Optics
• Biomedical Diagnostics and Therapy
• Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces
We hope the Workshop will be of interest for the entire scientific community and will offer a moment for wide discussion and collaboration. For this reason, we would be very grateful if you could indicate your availability (and/or availability of your collaborators) to take part at the Workshop by submitting one or more contributions.
