Please join us for a talk on Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures, an electronic warfare topic by Capt Robert Chilton.
This talk is a collaborative event between IEEE AESS/SYSC/SCM and the Billy Mitchel Chapter of the Association of Older Crows.
Lunch will be provided for those who register.

Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures
Capt Chilton will discuss Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures. LAIRCM systems are a defensive system for large transport and rotary-wing aircraft that combines a Missile Warning System (MWS) and infrared laser jammer countermeasure system to protect the aircraft from infrared guided threat missiles.
Biography:
Capt Robert Chilton graduated from USAF pilot training at Columbus AFB, Mississippi in 2018. Afterwards he moved to San Antonio and started his current career as a C-5M Super Galaxy pilot at the 433rd Air Wing. He is currently the Chief of Weapons and Tactics for the 433rd Operations Group. Robert has flown numerous combat missions in support of worldwide combat operations earning an Air Medal for his participation in Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Freedom Sentinel.
