IEEE ENCS 2024 Family Gathering at Pullen Park Community Center
Come join the IEEE Eastern North Carolina Section for a summer social at Pullen Park Community Center on Saturday, August 17th. This event is for the entire family.
- Registration is 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon in the Community Center.
- Volunteers will meet at 12:00 noon to help set up food and tables.
- We will all meet in Room 112A to eat Lunch 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Leaders will speak during lunch.
- Enjoy the park, rides (train, air conditioned carousel) and/or a dip in the Pullen Aquatic Center.
- If you choose to swim after lunch, we can take groups to the pool between 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. You may stay later at the pool.
- If you choose to meet with a committee or work group after lunch, you may do so in the community center.
Here are some of the activities available: swimming, walking, biking, playground, rides.
Amenities: Public Parking, Swings, Benches, Restrooms in the Community Center and Park.
- We will eat, drink and have fellowship
- The MOVE Truck will be onsite (if not needed elsewhere)
- Ken, our humanoid Robot, will attend
- Great hiking and biking opportunities at Pullen Park
- Dogs must be kept on-leash
- Please come out and have a good time
You may park near the Aquatic Center, the Community Center or the Pullen Park main entrance. See the map below for Parking.
