Are You Ready to Help When the Next Disaster Strikes?

MOVE is hosting a virtual event to introduce you to the program and show how you can get involved. We’ve recently expanded with a third vehicle, enabling us to cover all states in the US. With an active hurricane season expected, we need volunteers for deployment to disaster areas.

Roles Needed:

·         Drivers and Crew Members: For disaster deployments.

·         Radio Team: Supporting all radios on the truck.

·         Radio Club: Supporting disaster communications via amateur radio operators.

·         Maintenance Team: Keeping the truck in top condition.

·         Network Team: Supporting digital communications and devices.

·         Weather Team: Tracking storms and updating deployed teams.

·         Training Team: Educating drivers, disaster teams, and STEM/Outreach teams.

·         STEM/Outreach Team: Supporting student and public education.

·         Disaster Deployment Team: Deploying into disaster areas.

·         Communication Team: Updating followers with the latest MOVE information.

·         Leadership Team: Managing the MOVE Program.

When not deployed, the MOVE team visits schools, universities, and conferences to demonstrate capabilities and teach STEM topics.  Sign up to volunteer here.
