Brain stimulation in the era of deep learning
Electromagnetic stimulation of the human brain is a key tool for neurophysiological characterization and the diagnosis of several neurological disorders. The convergence of neuroscience and artificial intelligence has paved the way for revolutionary advancements in brain research and therapeutic interventions. With the emergence of deep learning, several complicated problems in the field become more interpretable. We delve into the mechanisms of brain stimulation methods such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), highlighting their potential to modulate neural activity and treat neurological disorders. The integration of deep learning in this field offers unprecedented opportunities for personalized medicine and real-time adaptive interventions. Attendees will gain insights into cutting-edge research, practical applications, and the transformative potential of combining brain stimulation with deep learning methodologies.
