Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition
Reaching for the stars!
Galgotias University successfully hosted the Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition from August 1st to 3rd, 2024, inspiring over 10,000 school students to explore the wonders of space science and technology!
Highlights of the exhibition included:
- Interactive displays and lectures on ISRO's projects
- Insights from Chief Guest Shri Nilesh M. Desai on satellite communication and planetary exploration
- Hands-on experience with Space on Wheels
- Thrilling demonstrations of rocket launches!
But that's not all! We were also honored to have the "Water Man of India", Dr. Rajendra Singh, as our Chief Guest, who shared his valuable insights on the importance of water conservation and river preservation. He emphasized how space technology can be used to monitor and manage water resources, highlighting the crucial link between space exploration and sustainable development.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, emphasized the importance of igniting student curiosity about space science, fostering a future generation of innovators and explorers.
We're proud to have provided a platform for students to learn from renowned scientists, witness incredible demonstrations, and get inspired by the legacy of Vikram Sarabhai, the father of the Indian space program.
