Biography:

Dr. Alba Avila is a multidisciplinary researcher. Her areas of expertise include electrical characterization of nanomaterials using microscopy techniques, new physicochemical techniques for toxicity assessment, remote sensing of water, custom electronic design for cost-effective technologies, and integrating nanomaterials in the field of sustainability. She also works on designing and developing kits to promote nanotechnology and electronic education and engages regularly in outreach activities with marginalized communities
