Learn how the Government of Canada can buy your products, services and innovations!
The Government of Canada purchases between $15 to $20 billion of goods and services each year. The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) in Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) can help you better understand how the federal government buys goods and services by raising awareness of opportunities and explaining the benefits of using Buyandsell.gc.ca, the federal portal to procurement information and open data. You’ll also learn how to access free seminars and webinars, along with one-on-one sessions to assist you in understanding aspects of federal procurement including security clearances, finding and bidding on tenders and indigenous procurement programs.
OSME also manages the Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP), which assists Canadian businesses in testing their innovative goods and services before they are commercialized. Your company benefits from a first sale up to $1M and valuable feedback to advance commercialization of the innovation. Learn how you can land your first sale and get your innovation tested by the Government of Canada!
