TECH GIRLS – Empower the GIRLS through Emerging Technologies Education
RCEW, in collaboration with IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Hyderabad Section, recently hosted an empowering outreach program at Polakal ZPHS in Kurnool. The event, titled "Tech Girls – Empower the Girls through Emerging Technologies Education," aimed to inspire and educate young girls on the importance and possibilities of careers in emerging technologies.
The program featured interactive workshops and hands-on sessions focused on coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and other cutting-edge technologies. These sessions were carefully designed to be engaging and accessible, helping the girls gain a basic understanding of these fields and fostering their interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.
IEEE WIE Hyderabad Section brought in a diverse group of women technologists and engineers who shared their experiences and offered mentorship to the students. Their stories of overcoming challenges and succeeding in traditionally male-dominated fields were powerful motivators for the young audience, encouraging them to consider tech careers and become future leaders in technology.
Through this collaborative effort, the event successfully empowered participants by providing them with both knowledge and inspiration. The initiative underscored the importance of equipping girls with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the digital age, promoting gender diversity and inclusion in the field of technology.
The collaboration between RCEW and IEEE WIE Hyderabad Section exemplified a commitment to nurturing young talent and ensuring that all students, regardless of gender, have the opportunity to explore and thrive in the world of technology.
