Abstract:  In this talk, we'll dive into the importance of efficient electromechanical systems for a clean
energy transition. Dr. Daisy Green will explore innovative methods for system maintenance and
flexible energy management, including electrical monitoring techniques, machine learning
approaches, and thermal control for energy-efficient buildings. She'll also touch on demand-side
management for a sustainable grid.

Speaker: Dr. Daisy Green is an Assistant Professor in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the
University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She has an impressive background, having been a Postdoctoral
Associate at MIT and holding both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from MIT in electrical engineering
and computer science. Her research focuses on signal processing, machine learning, and control
for renewable energy integration and energy management.
