Brad Wiebe of Nucor Steel Nebraska

Biography:

Brad Wiebe is an experienced professional in the field of electromechanical technology with over three decades of experience. He currently serves as the Roll Mill Electrical Lead at Nucor Steel in Norfolk, NE, a position he has held since January 1998. Prior to this, Brad worked in Maintenance Engineering at Douglas and Lomason (Camaco) in Columbus, NE, from October 1986 to January 1998.

Brad's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State College, Wayne, NE, earned in August 2016, and an Associate of Applied Science in Electromechanical Technology from Southeast Community College, Milford, NE, completed in June 1986.

Brad's passion for electronics began in high school while working on automobiles in his dad’s garage. This early experience sparked a lifelong interest in repairing electrical issues and installing electrical systems in vehicles.

Outside of his professional life, Brad enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is married to his wife, Julie, and together they have four children and five grandchildren. His hobbies include attending his grandchildren’s events, camping, riding motorcycles, and working on cars.
