More Than Smart: Vacuum Fault Interrupter Transformers
Join us afterwards for a networking happy hour right next door at The Powder Keg. As always, the first round is on us
Come join the IEEE Houston Power & Energy Society for our quarterly meeting! All IEEE members and any other industry professionals, students, and members of the public interested in power engineering are invited.
On September 25th, we are excited to have top industry expert Tyler Knutson presenting. All attendees receive a continuing education certificate for one professional development hour (PDH).
This meeting's topic: the VFI transformer combines a transformer and a fully functional VFI in one cabinet. The vacuum fault interrupter (VFI) with factory installed and tested relay control package provides primary protection and digital communication in one complete package. This eliminates the need for medium-voltage switches or other monitoring devices which simplifies the installation and reduces installed footprint.
