The Product Development Workshop by Zone24x7 was a technical event organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Peradeniya in collaboration with Zone24x7 (Pvt) Ltd. This workshop aimed to provide third-year undergraduates of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering with practical insights into the electronic product development lifecycle. The workshop covered critical topics such as product development stages, testing, and pitching, along with a specialized session on PCB design using Altium Designer. The event was a valuable opportunity for participants to engage with industry professionals, gain hands-on experience, and network within the field of electronic product design.​       

The workshop concluded with positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the practical knowledge and industry insights they gained. Many expressed how the hands-on experience, particularly in PCB design, solidified their understanding of the theoretical concepts learned in class. The event not only boosted their confidence in tackling real-world challenges but also inspired them to explore careers in electronic product development.
