Mr. R. Vasudevan, Executive IT Architect, IBM, spoke about the Generative AI Use cases and Applications.
Biography:
Vasu is an IBM Certified Application Architect with over 25 years of experience which includes 20 years of leading and managing full software life cycle projects. He has experience in architecture, design, implementation and testing of Cloud, Mobile, Web based, AI based, desktop applications on diverse platforms and technologies.
Vasu has played the role of an Architect, Technical Lead, Designer, Developer in his career in projects for clients in Automotive, Telecommunications, Financial Markets and Electronics industries. He has been involved in development of solution architectures, prototypes and estimates for many proposals for different industries.
He is currently the Chief Architect of the Cloud Modernization Program for Global Telecom client where 100+ enterprise applications were modernized and migrated to Azure Cloud. He is leading a team of architects in defining the Cloud architecture of the applications and also to develop reusable assets for the migration.
Vasu was part of the core architecture team at the Apple-IBM Global team. He led a team of delivery architects in delivering mobile solutions to clients in various industries. He led the development of the deployment architecture which includes the reference architecture of mobile solutions delivered and solutioned in the program.
Vasu also worked with Automotive Global SMEs in defining solutions for smarter manufacturing, smarter diagnostics, smarter dealer management as part of the smarter planet initiative for the Automotive industry. He also worked with the Lead Architect of the Automotive industry in defining the smarter planet strategy and vision of IBM India-Automotive Industry.
His other areas of interests include pervasive technologies such as RFID and Telematics, where he has lead the development of a number of solutions, prototypes and demos which have been presented to clients and other IBM Geos.
