Abstract

Uncover the critical distinctions between Medical and Generic EMC. Discover how product-specific standards, such as 60601-2-xx, modify the Generic Medical standard (60601-1-2) and gain insights into the general EMC requirements found in most EN/IEC-based medical standards.

General overview of:

·       Medical EMC and how it differs from Generic EMC

·       How product specific Medical EMC standards (i.e., 60601-2-xx) modify the Generic  Medical  (60601-1-2)

·       Overview of general EMC requirements in most EN/IEC-based medical standards
