IEEE Tour: ABB - Fort Smith Lab and Plant Facilities
This event will be a tour of the ABB Lab and Plant facilities located in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Space is limited so registration will be set to 30 maximum attendees. If we have the full 30 attendees, there will be three separate tour groups: two will start simultaneously but go in different directions within the plant, and the third group will begin 5 minutes later.
A lab representative will be assigned to each group. After completing the plant tour, the representative will guide the group to the lab, where they will wait for the remaining groups. The lab tour will be conducted with everyone together.
Please note that safety shoes are mandatory in both the plant and lab areas. We have a limited supply of safety shoes available for loan, so we ask that attendees bring and wear their own if possible. Additionally, if anyone has prescription safety glasses with side shields, it’s best for them to wear these to avoid the bulkier over-the-glass style.
The Ozark, Arkansas, and River Valley Sections are all co-hosting this event.
This should be a great tour!
