PAPER PRESENTATION AND POSTER PRESENTATION
The IEEE RGMCET Student Branch Chapter Industry Applications Society (IAS) and Reliability Society jointly organized a paper and poster presentation competition on September 12, 2024, to commemorate Engineer's Day. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas, research, and projects in electrical engineering and related disciplines.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across various institutions, with 20 participants presenting 20 papers and posters. The topics covered ranged from electrical engineering, electronics to related fields. A panel of expert judges evaluated the presentations based on technical merit, originality, innovation, presentation skills, and relevance to industry applications.
After rigorous evaluation, K. Chandana, a 2nd-year student, emerged as the first prize winner for her outstanding presentation on "Key Role of Engineers in Developing Society". C. Pavithra secured the second prize for her exceptional presentation on "Key Role of Engineers in Developing Society". The winners received accolades and recognition for their remarkable work.
The paper and poster presentation competition was a resounding success, showcasing exceptional talent and innovative ideas among participants. The event reinforced the importance of encouraging student innovation and research. The organizers acknowledge the support of IEEE RGMCET Student Branch Chapter, Industry Applications Society, Reliability Society, faculty members, and sponsors.
The success of this event recommends conducting similar competitions regularly, inviting industry experts for guest lectures and workshops, and collaborating with other institutions for inter-university competitions. The event's outcomes will inspire future initiatives, promoting innovation and excellence among students.
