A workshop for all Professional Engineers in the Energy Sector.

 

Earn Six (6) PDH credits (NYS PIE approved)

 

This workshop will cover various topics in Electrical Engineering related to the energy sector for industry and academia. It will be presented by faculty from Syracuse University, other universities, and industry professionals. Our historical speakers are from National and global locations, including Australia, Canada, India, Saudi Arabia, and the USA.

 

The workshop will be organized in a HYBRID (in-person and online) format.

Biography:

Luigi Vanfretti (Senior Member, IEEE; Member, Modelica Association) leads ALSETLab on research in energy systems, electrical power systems, and aircraft electrification. His research includes cyber-physical system (CPS) modeling, simulation, stability, and control in energy systems, power grids, and electrified transportation. 

In addition, Vanfretti researches development and data analytics in synchrophasor technologies. He is interested in applying software technologies, signal processing, system identification, and machine learning for design and operation analytics for CPS.
