Sanaz Kanani of BBA Consultants

Biography:

Sanaz Kanani is a senior engineer in the Digital Power Systems department at BBA Consultants. She earned her Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mashhad in 2012, where her research focused on the optimal placement of automated line switches in power distribution networks to minimize energy disruptions. In 2018, she completed a Master of Engineering at the University of Toronto.

With over 15 years of extensive experience in automation across various industries, Sanaz has served as a project engineer specializing in transmission and distribution automation systems as well as SCADA projects. Her expertise includes project design, programming, configuration, and implementation. Beyond substation automation, Sanaz is deeply passionate about digital transformation and emerging technologies.
