DAY 1 - Hands-on Training

The much anticipated Beyond the Horizon summit, kicked off with an impressive inaugural ceremony graced by the esteemed Dr.Hariprasad Director (research) from Polenza Tech Solution Pvt Ltd. The event began with the arrival of our esteemed guest, followed by a prayer that set a serene and focused tone for the day’s activities. The event was presided over by Ms. T Sathya, Head of the Department (HoD) of CSBS felicitated Mr. Hariprasad, Mr. A Naresh Kumar, Advisor - IEEE Reliability Society SEC SBC Associate Professor/CSBS welcomed him acknowledging his significant contributions and presence at the summit.

This was followed by an inspiring speech from Dr. Hariprasad, where he shared his valuable insights on innovation, setting a motivational tone for the rest of the event. Following the insightful speech, participants eagerly engaged in a hands-on workshop. The session, facilitated by Dr. Hariprasad, involved coding and hardware simulation. Participants connected a hardware setup using simulation, integrating an application page with the hardware. This allowed participants to control the hardware through the application, providing a practical understanding of IoT and MQTT protocols. The workshop also covered the concepts of publishers and subscribers, offering a comprehensive overview of these essential components in IoT systems.

The first day of Beyond the Horizon was filled with enlightening talks and practical experiences, leaving participants inspired and eager for the upcoming sessions.

DAY 2 – Industrial Visit

On the second day of Beyond the Horizon, participants embarked on an industrial visit to Polenza Tech Solutions . The visit was an enlightening experience, providing a closer look at the cutting-edge technologies and innovative products developed by Polenza Tech Solutions. The session was led by the Founder of Polenza Tech Solutions, Dr. Srinivasan, who shared his extensive knowledge on the growing landscape of technology and entrepreneurship. He emphasized the importance of focusing on innovation and the critical role of business systems in driving technological advancements.

Dr. Srinivasan showcased some of Polenza Tech Solution’s flagship products, including automated doors and automated locker systems. He discussed the technical aspects behind product development, highlighting the challenges and intricacies involved in bringing a product from concept to market. Participants gained valuable insights into the importance of meticulous planning, testing, and the impact of even the smallest details during the development process.

The second day of Beyond the Horizon was a blend of practical learning and inspirational insights, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of the technological and entrepreneurial landscape.
