The Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Smart Cities with Python was organized by the Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity group, IEEE Student Branch at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), from 9th to 14th September 2024. Held online, the workshop provided a platform for 50 participants from various engineering disciplines to explore the application of AI in developing smart cities. 

Through interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, students gained proficiency in Python-based data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning, all focused on solving urban challenges. The workshop covered topics like optimizing traffic, energy management, and predictive maintenance, showcasing how AI can enhance urban living.

The six-day event included real-world examples, encouraging students to apply AI techniques to improve city infrastructure. Participants expressed appreciation for the practical approach and engaging content, making the workshop a resounding success.
