Dawn of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
It’s been said that the winner of the AI race is not the entity with maximum data on its populace or topography, nor the university or the company with the master algorithm, rather, the one entity that can do maximum AI with minimum data.
Much like humans, analog and quantum in nature, we can predict, often with high confidence, with just a hunch yet not much data.
Prior to November of 2022, just before OpenAI revealed ChatGPT to the world, it had been said that AI lacked world knowledge; well, not anymore, what it does lack is the ability to garner the same confidence value in its predictions with minimum data.
Imagine a not-so-distant future, likely before 2030, where machines will experience and not just learn as Generative AI paves the way to General Artificial Intelligence (AGI). In this lecture, we welcome you to the dawn of AGI.
