Robotics Workshop for Government School Students
In our Robotics Workshop for school students, we delved into the dynamic field of mobile robots and their diverse applications. We introduced the fundamental concepts of robotics, including sensors, actuators, and controllers, and showcased how mobile robots navigate and interact with their surroundings. The workshop highlighted the innovative uses of these robots in various sectors. In agriculture, students learned how mobile robots can automate tasks such as planting, crop monitoring, weeding, and harvesting, with a focus on optimizing water usage through soil moisture detection. We also explored how robots play a crucial role in water management by monitoring water levels, inspecting pipes, and cleaning water bodies to ensure efficient resource management. Additionally, we demonstrated the use of firefighting robots, equipped with heat sensors and water hoses, which are designed to tackle fires in hazardous environments. This hands-on experience aimed to inspire students by showcasing the practical applications of robotics in solving real-world challenges.
