The Alliant Energy Community Solar garden is now generating renewable energy for the more than 300 Alliant Energy customers who subscribed to the utility’s first community solar garden in Iowa. The 4.5-megawatt garden is Alliant Energy’s largest operational solar project to date in Iowa.
Safety:
Please note that both the ESS and Community Solar sites are active. We will not have access inside the fenced areas. Alliant Energy asks that participants dress for the weather and the rugged conditions. The assembly area is gravel, and the site is surrounded by unmanaged prairie. We ask that you wear close-toed shoes. Hard hats are not required.
