INTRODUCTION TO SENSORS AND ITS APPLICATIONS
SENSOR INTRODUCTION
Introducing The Sensors to Students of Sensors council and I M S society Chapters
will cover all sensors used in Mechanical, Automotive and civil Engineering Applications.
Will be a workshop with Theory and Lab Demonstration
Introduction
The event, "Introduction to Sensor Technology, "was organized by IEEE VIIT Sensor Council
on 23 September at 2 pm in C107. The primary objective was to provide attendees with a
comprehensive understanding of sensors, transducers, and their applications. The Speaker Prof Mandar J Khurjekar covered different Sensors like LVDT, Pressure Transducers, Strain gauge applications, Temperature Sensors, Acceleration Sensors, Fiber Optic Displacement and Pressure Sensors , Vibrating Wire Sensors, and applications. Demonstrations of voice to frequency and its fft, FFT of various waveforms, LVDT functioning on a demonstrating kit.
